Welcome to NextGen Louisville! If you are between the ages of 21 and 45, living in the Louisville, area and want to meet new people, become more invested in your community, develop your leadership skills, and make a difference in the world we share, you are in the right place. 

Gather Grants

*NEW* Interested in getting involved? Apply for an Gather Grant of up to $250 to host a Jewish inspired event with local Louisvillians. For this grant cycle, please submit all grant applications by June 15, 2024.

Feel Free to Create Your Own Event or Choose an Option From the Gather Grant Menu Below

  • Shabbat Picnic in the Park: Create your own picnic spread or order some sandwiches and salads from your favorite restaurant  for you and 10 friends. Grab a blanket and a frisbee and head to the closest park for a sunset picnic.
  • Pre-Havdalah Candle Pouring Workshop: Find a candle making class and use your new scented candle for Havdalah to welcome the new week. Class is on us, Havdalah’s on you! 
  • Bonfire Night: Invite your chevre and head over to your favorite restaurant with
    fire pits or venture into nature for a little camping adventure. 
  • Private Yoga Session: Take some time to unwind and relax with a yoga class with friends at your favorite studio. Don’t have a go-to studio? Try the Trager Family JCC!
  • Challah Baking Class: Get ready for Shabbat with a virtual challah baking class. Grab your friends and get ready to bake some amazing challah. You can all tune in from home or gather together and get ready to bake. Then get dinner ready or pick up from your favorite neighborhood joint and enjoy your delicious homemade challah!  
  • Learn to Play Pickleball: The JCC can set up a private intro to Pickleball lesson for you and up to 11 people.
  • Rosh Chodesh Girls Night!
