PJ Library

We all know the power of reading stories with young children. These nurturing, joyous, and beneficial early learning experiences build the emotional and cognitive foundation for each child. That is why the JCC is a proud partner with PJ Library,  providing your family with a FREE treasury of Jewish books and music.

Each child you enroll in PJ Library will receive a monthly gift of a high-quality, age-appropriate Jewish book or CD as well as a reading guide to enhance your family’s experience. All materials are carefully selected by a team of experts.

Please enjoy our gift to you by enrolling your child/ren who are 6 months to 8 years old!

Thanks to the generosity of our local funders, The Stephen, Sandra and Donald Linker Family Fund, PJ Library is available for free to children in the Louisville area. Along with Harold Grinspoon, the visionary founder of PJ Library, we are committed to bringing PJ Library to every family who wants to participate. We also have a grant from The Harold Grinspoon Foundation that generously matches every subscription on a 1:2 basis.

It is easy to enroll! Just click here.

Whether you’re a parent, grandparent, or friend of someone with young children, please help us share news of this special program with Jewish families throughout the area who have children through age 8. Do you know children who live elsewhere who would enjoy this gift? Please sign them up.

Happy Reading! If you have any questions or comments, please contact Shannon Benovitz, Interim PJ Library & Shalom Baby Coordinator, at 502-238-2719 or sbenovitz@jewishlouisville.org.

PS: If you are in a position to become a PJ Library funding partner, let us know. We welcome all those who would like to participate in passing on the joys of our Jewish heritage.
