Lion of Judah

WHO WE ARE

The Lions of Judah are the most dynamic philanthropic Jewish women in the world. We are strong women of all ages, an international sisterhood of thousands of global activists who care deeply about the Jewish future.

WHAT WE DO

Lions of Judah play a vital role in creating social justice, aiding the vulnerable, preserving human dignity and building Jewish identity.

We demonstrate our dedication to the Jewish community by contributing of our time and resources. Each woman makes an annual donation to the Jewish Federation that reflects her capacity to give and is a minimum of $5,000.

The Lions of Judah set an exemplary standard of leadership and giving.

LION OF JUDAH CONFERENCE

Every two years, Lions gather for three phenomenal days of extraordinary learning, sharing and celebration. We inspire one another and hear from the world’s leading speakers in the fields of religion, culture, art, business and politics.

Lion of Judah Endowment

The strength and vitality of women’s philanthropy continues through a Lion of Judah Endowment (LOJE). Establishing a LOJE enables women to leave a legacy to safeguard the values that inspire their personal commitment. A LOJE gift represents the creation of a permanent fund that will guarantee a women’s financial commitment of at least $5,000 to be made to Jewish Federation of Louisville in perpetuity.
