About Acting Out

J Arts & Ideas Acting Out is a professional, touring, children’s theatre troupe that travels to schools and community centers to present educational and relevant musical theatre to students of all grade levels.

No buses, no permission slips, no parent chaperones! Acting out brings full productions with professional actors, set, costumes, props, musicians, sound systems, etc. directly to your school.  We can perform in any space (classroom, gymnasium, library, etc.). Our programs run 60 minutes and can accommodate any number of students.

Acting Out works with Funds for the Arts each year to provide financial assistance for schools. These are provided on a first-come, first-served basis, so act fast! Click here for more information. Do you not qualify? We can work with you to provide the arts for your kids. Reach us at esilliman@jewishlouisville.org.
