Group Exercise Classes and Outdoor Pool Swimming
Sign-ups and reservations are available online for the lap pools and group exercise classes. Online scheduling is available 48 hours in advance of group exercise classes and lap swimming reservations.
The Wellness Department at the JCC strives to be the destination point for the entire family to maintain a healthy lifestyle. Our trained staff is eager to assist you in reaching your fitness goals whether through personal training, swim lessons, group fitness, or your weekly workouts in the cardio area. Group Fitness & Cycling at The J
The Group Fitness and Cycling classes at The J are an exciting and energetic way to stay in shape and lose weight. Each class has a state of mind where both the instructor and members provide pleasant motivation while helping each other to accomplish their goals. For more information please call 502-238-2727. Personal Training at The J
Our trainers are nationally certified by the American Council on Exercise, American College of Sports Medicine, or National Strength and Conditioning Association. Ideal for those needing extra motivation, professional guidance, help rehabilitating or working around an injury, or wanting to learn creative ways to improve their fitness level. One on one, two person or small group training formats are all available. Trainers are available from 5:30 a.m.-9 p.m., and will work with you in either 1/2-hour or 1-hour sessions. Sports at The J
The Sports Department at The J offers a variety of sports programs for children, youths and adults year round. The J also has two full size basketball courts, tennis courts, soccer fields and also offers open league play for basketball for all age groups. Visit our Sports page.
Aquatics at The J
The Jewish Community Center pool is the place to be during the summer or all year long. Providing a place for children to learn important water safety and swimming skills or just a place for the family to hang out, the entire community can enjoy the Aquatics Department. Aqua Fitness Classes provide workouts for all ages and The Gators Swim Team gives children a chance to compete in the water. Active Adults at The J
The J offers numerous activities for Active Adults. The Kindred Active Adult Series hosts regular and one-time events that will stretch your mind and body.
