Here’s How It Works

  1. Find an approved camp and register. Kids and teens must be registered for a camp before applying for a One Happy Camper grant. Find an approved camp here, or contact Alison Roemer at aroemer@JewishLouisville.org and we’ll help find the perfect camp for your child.
  2. Apply for a One Happy Camper grant opportunity and/or financial assistance. Read about options and eligibility below.
  3. Register for camp and grants and/or assistance by February 1. The extended application deadline is April 17. If either deadline poses an issue, contact us.
  4. Questions or don’t know where to start? We’re here to help every step of the way. Contact Alison at aroemer@jewishlouisville.org.

Camp Financial Assistance

If additional financial assistance is needed beyond the One Happy Camper grants, or for children past year 3 of camp, we want to help. Please note, all applications and inquiries are confidential. No financial documentation will be requested. Funding is provided through the generosity of individual donors, the Jewish Heritage Fund and the Federation’s Annual Campaign.
