LGBTQ+ Self Defense will be taught by Dr. Dennis Cornell (he/him). He has been a queer behavioral health provider for over 20 years. He has been a trainer for the Dept. of Veteran Affairs “Prevention and Management of Disruptive Behavior Program.” He was in the U.S. Army for 8 years and learned the hand to hand combat training called “Combatives.” Dr. Cornell has also been trained in mixed martial arts and boxing.
