Tea, Fashion Combine for Fun

Many girls want to have the latest in fall fashion when they go to school, and on September 11, approximately 80 people came to Standard Club for The J’s second annual Tea and Fashion Show. For many of the young ladies, it was their first event with The J.

FRESH Boutique 4 Girls hosted the fashion show and set up a pop-up store on at the site. Many registered for the chance to be models in the show and five girls were selected in a random drawing for the honor. Other models were chosen by FRESH.

“I loved wearing the fun outfits and being with friends,” said Skye Pohn, 7.

Tea and desserts followed the fashion show.

Mercedes Nibur, who had two granddaughters participating as models, won the FRESH giveaway.

A portion of the proceeds were donated to the Gina Roccisano Memorial Fund to benefit families affected by cancer. Roccisano’s daughters, Francesca and Gabriella, who both attended the Temple Preschool, were also models.

The event committee included Dylan and Cameron Breier, Emma and Piper Charney, Libby Greenberg, Gabby Kronenberg, Reagan Rothschild, Elia and Ellana Saltzman and Jenna Shaps.

PJ Our Way Director Jennifer Tuvlin coordinated the event.
