A soft-hearted ogre, one of the world’s most beloved bears, and all of their friends are featured in CenterStage Academy’s two upcoming public performances at the JCC. CenterStage Academy is a youth musical theatre training program which gives students the opportunity to discover and develop their talents as performers.
“Winnie the Pooh Kids!” based on the stories of A.A. Milne and the 2011 Disney animated feature film, and performed by children ages 4-8, will be presented on Thursday, March 3, at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 5, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 6, at 2 and 7 p.m.
“Shrek The Musical, Jr.” based on the DreamWorks animated film and the book by William Steig, and performed by players ages 9-17, will take the stage on Thursday, March 3, at 7 p.m., Saturday, March 5, at 7 p.m., and Sunday, March 6, at 2 and 7 p.m.
