Young Adults Participated in Regional Access “Got Shabbat” Event in Cincinnati

Access, a Cincinnati-based group for Jewish young adults, age 21-35, hosted a Shabbat dinner on Friday, November 9, that drew participants from across the region, including Lexington, Columbus, Indianapolis and seven from Louisville.

Part of Access’ “Got Shabbat” series, the themed dinner, held at Plum Street Temple in Cincinnati, was preceded by a musical Shabbat service led by Rabbi Lewis Kamrass, with musical accompaniment from the Shir Chadash Band.

Participants were treated to some of Cincinnati’s most famous fare such as Montgomery Inn’s barbecued chicken and brisket, Saratoga chips and salad, plus a Graeter’s Ice Cream bar, Busken Bakery treats and more. Complementary beer and wine and other beverages were also served. Vegetarian & Kosher options were available.

The Jewish Federation of Louisville’s Young Adult Division thanks Access for generously subsidizing the event and looks forward to participating in more access events in the future.
