Tzofim Friendship Caravan Performs on CenterStage

The Tzofim Friendship Caravan made a stop in Louisville on Sunday, July 24, to perform ahead of the CenterStage’s final performance of West Side Story. Dozens of families took their seats as a group of Israeli teenagers performed beloved Hebrew, Yiddish and English songs. From “Golden Boy,” “A Song of Hope” and “Together”, the performers danced and sang, inviting the young children to do the same.

Children danced and clapped along to the songs, even learning the music as they went along.

The Tzofim completed their Louisville trip by performing at The J Summer Camp on Monday. The caravan will continue performing across the United States for several weeks.

The group of boys and girls, ages 14 and 15, and was founded in 1973 to bring a message of hope and peace for Israel to the U.S. The Tzofim are now is celebrating over 40 years of bringing excitement and friendship to North America. To learn more about them, visit
