Today we went to Acco prison. We toured and learned about the heroism of the Jews in Acco. Then, we spent a few hours shopping and eating at the Acco shuk (market). after a short drive, we have arrived in Haifa where we will stay for the next two days. Tonight, we head to a local children’s home/orphanage for a program honoring Yom Hazikaron, Israel’s Memorial Day.
So far, it’s been an amazing adventure and the girls feel so at home in this country.
