JFCS Multicultural Department Mentors Needed
As part of the Multicultural Department at JFCS, mentors are needed to work with individuals during the early stages of opening a small new business.

While clients attend mandatory business planning classes, mentors meet with them separately to help them transform what they learn in class into a readable written plan and assist them with the basic tasks required to get a small business up and going. To sustain these individuals, ongoing support of business professionals and experienced entrepreneurs is needed. Volunteers have the chance to use their own skills to directly impact the economic opportunities that offer clients a chance to help build assets needed to sustain a family.

Requirements: a business background is needed, must attend a volunteer orientation, which will include a criminal record check, and must meet with the Multicultural staff for training prior to mentorship.
