Tikkun Leil Shavuot

Shavuot is traditionally considered to be the anniversary of the Giving of the Torah at Mount Sinai. Tikkun Leil Shavuot is the custom of staying up the entire night of Shavuot studying with the community in order to re-experience standing at Sinai. Here at The Temple, we have created the tradition of studying until 11 pm.

Class with Rabbi David – How Shavuot was celebrated in the temple in Jerusalem and the ceremony of Shavuot as shaping our identity from the Bible to today.
