Jack’s Place Dedication & New Archives Exhibit
Friday, November 1 | Service at 7:00 pm | Oneg Shabbat and Dedication at 8:00 pm
In recognition of Jack Benjamin’s lifetime of work and dedication to The Temple, we are honored and have created a new gathering place in The Temple lobby, called “Jack’s Place”.
To further honor Jack, The Temple will recognize Jack at Friday evening services at 7:00 pm on November 1 and then at a special Oneg Shabbat thereafter at 8:00 pm, held at “Jack’s Place”, when we will formally dedicate the area and, we are sure, will all say some very kind words about our dear friend.
Also, at this same service and Oneg, we all will be treated to a new exhibit presented by our Archives Committee spotlighting several renowned Louisville businesses owned by former and current Temple Members. These businesses were a strong presence in our city, and the members that we are saluting played a huge role. Some of the ones that are featured include Heaven Hill, Levy Bros., Enro Shirt Co. and Bensinger’s. Please join us for this special night!
