CenterStage’s hit fundraiser, Light Up CenterStage, is back for its eight annual evening of fun on Saturday, December 1 at 7 p.m. at the Jewish Community Center. Tickets are on sale now for this original Broadway Style Review.
Throughout the evening, there will be tons of silent and live auctions and with plenty of cocktails and hors d’oeuvres.
This year’s proceeds will go towards helping to keep the ticket prices affordable while maintaining CenterStage high-quality standards of theater. Last year, the event raised more than $30,000 for CenterStage Acting Out, a new professional touring theatre troupe. The program is now in its second year and just opened No Dogs Allowed!
The biggest prize of the evening, is an all-expenses paid trip to New York City including round-trip airfare for two people, a two night hotel stay, $200 for tickets to shows on Broadway, $300 spending money and a night of fine dining. The total value of the package is $1900. Only 125 raffle tickets will be sold for $50 each.
Other items up for auction include a walk on role in The Sound of Music, incredible jewelry from local artisans, a basketball and Final Four program autographed by UK Basketball Coach John Calipari and a summer of fun at JCC Summer Camp.
Tickets to Light Up CenterStage cost $90 per person and can be purchased by calling 502-238-2763. There are still sponsorship opportunities available for as little as $50 as well.
