Keneseth Israel will host “Candid Conversations: Jewish Identity and the Interfaith Family” on four consecutive Monday evenings beginning February 15. The classes, taught by KI’s Rabbi Joel Wasser, will start right after 5:45 p.m. Minyan.
The course is based on a series of articles written by noted Jewish journalist, Julie Weiner, who is married to a non-Jew and provided a firsthand account.
This is an opportunity to learn and become sensitized the “situations” that are part of the interfaith family dynamic. If you or a family member are part of this scenario or want to learn, sign up for the class. There is no charge. Please call the Keneseth Israel office, 459-2780, by February 11 to register.
