4 Writers to Be Feted

The Grasmere Writers, a quartet of seasoned, award-winning writers of short stories, poetry and musicals invite the community to spend an hour enjoying their dramatic literary performance on Wednesday, March 23, from 7-8 p.m. at The Bard’s Town, 1801 Bardstown Rd.

Nurtured in the Spalding University Master of Fine Arts Writing Program, Rick Neumayer, Joe Peacock, Michele Ruby, and Robert Sachs have been recognized locally and nationally for the quality of their work.

Short fiction has its genesis in the ancient tradition of oral storytelling. The Grasmere Writers believe it is important to honor that tradition by dramatically rendering short stories before live audiences.

The Bard’s Town, a restaurant and dinner theatre serving artisan food and drink, is located on the corner of Bardstown Road and Speed Avenue in Louisville’s Highlands.

This free event is open to the public.
