Color Camp
Instructor Gina Pinotti has a Bachelors of Fine Arts and a Masters in Teaching. She has taught drawing, painting and sculpture to Kindergarten-5th graders in a variety of settings. She currently works at Assumption High School teaching Art.

Grades: K-2 • July 8-12–Camp is Full!
Grades: 3-6 • July 1-5

This camp will explore color art in many forms. We will be painting, printmaking, sculpting, paper folding and more. The artists will learn about color mixing, the use of analogous, complementary, and split color schemes in our art. The artists will also participate in a field trip to Kentucky Museum of Arts and Crafts and an art show on Friday.


Artful Child

Imagine. Design. Create. You will learn about and use different mediums to produce artwork such as painting, drawing, clay and more. Day trip to an area art museum and an art show on Friday for our campers to display their works.

CenterStage Academy’s Musical Theatre Summer Camps

Spotlight Youth Musical Theater

Grade: K • June 17-28
Grades: 1-2 • July 1-12
Grades: 3-4 • July 15-26

Step into a world of imagination and get caught up in the magic of CenterStage’s youth theatre program! Campers will spend their days with theatre professionals learning the art of musical theatre. The camp will culminate in a musical theatre performance with your children in a starring role! Children will work in all disciplines including acting, singing and dancing. This camp is not just for the serious performer but also for any child who likes to have fun.

Spotlight on GLEE Camp

Grades: 5-7 • July 29-August 9

Are you a GLEEK at heart and need a “new direction” to let it out? Join Spotlight Youth Players as a member of our GLEE Club this summer. Students will work with music theatre professionals learning popular songs and dances from the hit television show as well as creating their own songs, dances and scenes culminating in a spectacular performance where every player will be a STAR!

Drawing and Printmaking with the Speed Museum

Grades: 4-6 • June 10-14

Campers will explore a variety of drawing and printmaking techniques. Campers will look at real and reproduction artworks from the museum’s collection for inspiration. Campers will learn the basics principles of drawing and see how prints can be a process that allows an artist to create multiple versions of the same image.

Dance Mix
Instructor Robin Schulman has taught dance for over 25 years and had danced and/or choreographed professionally with Music Theater Louisville, Heritage Theatre and Clarksville Little Theatre.

Grades: K-2 • June 10-14–Camp is Full
Grades: 3-6 • June 17-21

Groove and move your way through the summer during this fun and exciting week filled with the hottest dance moves to your favorite radio tunes. Explore the world of dance and music while learning all forms of dance. The camp will culminate in a dance performance.

Painting and Portraits with the Speed Museum

Grades: 4-6 • July 15-19

Watercolors, acrylics, brush techniques, portraits and abstract paintings are some of the topics that will be explored. Campers will be encouraged to develop their own creative looking and thinking approaches when it comes to works of art. Campers will make multiple self-portraits in various media and styles and find out what goes into making an image.

Photo and Collage with the Speed Museum

Grades: 6-8 • June 17-21

Using unique photo and collage techniques campers will draw inspiration from their surroundings. They will create works of art that are focused around landscapes and self portraits. Campers will learn about composition by combining it with multi-material layering processes. This will be a fun camp in the most surrealist way possible.
