Set and Prop Rental Terms

PROP AND SET RENTAL POLICY

  • All rental services are by appointment only and renter is expected to call or email and schedule an appointment for every rental session, which includes browsing stock, picking up props, and returning props.
  • No rental services will be provided without an appointment.
  • Renter agrees to arrive promptly at the confirmed appointment time; lateness of more than fifteen minutes without notice will result in cancellation of the appointment. Appointments may be rescheduled, if requested, based on availability and at the discretion of CenterStage.
  • Props are rented for a period of one day up to four weeks. For rentals beyond four weeks add 25% of the total rental fee for each additional week or unless otherwise stated by CenterStage Artistic Director.
  • Renter agrees to accept props/set on an “as is” basis with the understanding that props/sets may have imperfections.
  • Rental items may not be modified in any way without expressed written prior permission from CenterStage.
  • Renter will exercise the highest degree of care for the safekeeping and preservation of any items rented from CenterStage. Reasonable wear to the items is to be expected and accepted. Damaged items which can be repaired by CenterStage personnel will be. Renter will be charge for the cost of repair (materials and labor), not to exceed the value of the item. Renter will be charged the full replacement cost for each item damaged beyond repair. Renter will be charged the full replacement cost for each item not returned.
  • The only cancellations accepted are those with written permission by the CenterStage Artistic Director.
  • Renter is responsible for the pick-up and return of all set pieces and props on the confirmed appointment days and times. CenterStage does not offer delivery or pick up services.
  • Renter agrees to provide any rope, straps, and/or moving blankets to insure items are undamaged as they are transported to and from CenterStage’s properties storage.
  • Renter agrees to indemnify, defend and hold harmless CenterStage, their boards of directors and employees from any and all claims of action, costs and expenses (including reasonable attorney fees and other costs in investigating and defending same), which arise from or relate to any alleged copyright infringement, bodily injury or property damage caused by the use of rented set and prop items.
  • The Renter, or authorized agent for Renter, agrees that Renter assumes full financial responsibility for all sets and props rented from CenterStage. By renting with us, you are agreeing to these terms in conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please contact John Leffert to cancel your rental PRIOR to use. As above, the only cancellations that will be accepted without penalty are those with written permission by the CenterStage Artistic Director.
