Louisville’s BBYO (B’nai B’rith Youth Organization) chapters began their new year on Sunday, August 26. They met at the Jewish Community Center and elected officers for the fall term.
For Jay Levine BBG (B’nai B’rith Girls), the n’siah (president) will be Natania Lipp; s’ganit (vice president, programming), Chelsea Rosenberg; shlichah (vice president, Jewish heritage, community service and social action), Deborah Levine; morah (vice president, membership), Daniela Reuter; gizbonit (treasurer), Katie Segal; and mazkirah (secretary), Maggie Rosen.
For the Drew Corson AZA (Aleph Zadik Aleph – the boy’s group), the godol (president) will be Ben Koby; s’gan (vice president, programming), Michael Schwartz; shaliach (vice president, Jewish heritage, community service and social action), Daniel Polio; moreh (vice president, membership) Eli Gould; gizbor (treasurer), Ben Bass; and mazkir (secretary), Daniel Polio.
