Keneseth Israel Opens New Gift Gallery

“When you have lemons, you make lemonade.” That’s exactly what Keneseth Israel did after a rain-caused summer flood devastated its gift shop and ruined its contents.

From that disaster arose the K.I. Gift Gallery. Instead of being somewhat tucked away, it has become the brightly lit focal point of the synagogue’s main entrance.

With a whole new look came new management and direction, too. Nikki Russman brought with her years of buying expertise learned at her uncle Alan’s, Zemon’s Jeweler’s.

Her pledge to every customer is “I will bring you the newest and most creative Judaica along with traditional items directly from Israel and local artists at the lowest possible price with free local delivery and no sales tax.”

Additionally, The Gallery has opened the Vintage Corner allowing you to bring your donated jewelry and other items and in return receive a charitable tax deduction. So, whether it is for a holiday, life event or “just because” check out the new Keneseth Israel Gift Galley, open Sunday-Thursday, 9:30 a.m.-1 p.m. and evenings by appointment.
