JNF’s Alternatve Spring Break

Although this week brought stark reminders that it is still winter in the form of ice and snow, spring is just around the corner. For young adults, ages 18-30, that means the opportunity to participate in Jewish National Fund’s Alternative Spring Break 2010 program.

This JNF program offers students and young professionals the opportunity to participate in week long community service trips to Israel. JNF describes the trips as “full of hard work, hikes, educational programming, interaction with local Israelis and an incredible amount of fun.

To encourage student participation, JNF offers two departure dates, March 7 and March 14, so students can choose the program that coordinates with their schools’ spring breaks.
