On Friday, March 11, the teachers and staff of the Adath Jeshurun Preschool, Keneseth Israel Preschool and The Temple Trager ECEC participated in a special in-service program at The Temple that was funded by a Jewish Hospital Healthcare Services Louisville Jewish Community Excellence Grants. The schools were closed for the day to enable the teachers to participate.
Caroline Figiel and Danny Jones, presenters from Atlanta, provided the teachers with a “Toolbox” of ideas for establishing positive social and emotional practices in their classrooms. In addition, the pair entertained with stories and songs for integrating Jewish values into the preschool classroom.
On Thursday, March 10, Figiel and Jones entertained preschoolers from the community the entire community with a free “Pajama Jammin Concert!” at AJ.
