Louisville Orchestra Presents “Music Without Borders”at Adath Jeshurun

Join us this evening as Adath Jeshurun hosts Louisville Orchestra’s “Music Without Borders.” Tonight’s performance is “Haydn’s Surprise” with conductor, Gabriel Lefkowitz.
Music lovers of all sorts find delight in Mendelssohn’s energetic fairy-tale music and enjoy the delightful “surprise” of one of Haydn’s greatest symphonies. But here we are having fun. How about one more surprise? The theme that Brahms thought was by Haydn…is not.
Gabriel Lefkowitz takes the podium for this performance. Lefkowitz is concertmaster of the LO, in addition to his work as a conductor, composer, and soloist.
