Keith Talley Sr. is the president and CEO of LHOME. LHOME is a mission-driven nonprofit financial institution that provides affordable loan products and financial coaching services to low-income homeowners and small businesses as well as BIPOC (Black, Indigenous and People of Color) populations in the Louisville-Jefferson Metropolitan Statistical Area. LHOME is a Community Development Financial Institution (CDFI), certified by the CDFI Fund at the U.S. Treasury.

Prior to taking this role, Keith served as Mayor’s Strategic Operations Officer focusing on the American Rescue Plan and the Chief of Community Building for Louisville Metro, the Director of the Louisville Metro Air Pollution District, the Deputy Commissioner of the Department of Financial Institutions for the Commonwealth of Kentucky.
Prior to his government career, Keith had an 18 year banking career which focused on small business development, affordable housing and economic development. He has taught small business start-up classes, and participated in numerous community development seminars and training events.
Keith has served on numerous non-profit boards locally including the American Red Cross, Ronald McDonald House, Coalition for the Homeless, Metropolitan Housing Coalition and Louisville Central Community Centers. He was a 1990 Black Achiever, a 1999 Leadership Louisville graduate and in 2007 received the “Recognition of Outstanding Community Service Louisville Metro Council Black History Celebration” award.
He received a Bachelor of Arts degree in economics with a minor in the interdisciplinary study of African history from Northwestern, University.
