E-cycle your Old Computers and Electronics
February 5 & 6
Troop 30 is conducting a service project in association with Scout Sabbath. With the help of Bluegrass E-Cycle, it will collect unwanted electronic equipment Friday, February 5, from 6–6:30 pm, and Saturday, February 6, from 9:30 am–12:00 pm at The Temple.
Items that can be accepted: batteries, cables, CDs, cell phones, circuit boards, computers, consumer electronics, game consoles, ink and toner cartridges, IT equipment, keyboards, laptops, mice, modems, monitors (Not CRT type), MP# players, network equipment, phone systems, printers, routers, satellite boxes, servers, speakers, switches, telecom equipment, ups units, video games and wire.
Bluegrass E-Cycle will physically destroy or degauss any hard drive. This service will ensure that these materials will not be sent to a landfill and will be disposed of or utilized properly.
