Brown Bag Blessings Program at Adath Jeshurun

The January Brown Bags will serve homeless men, women and children in Bullitt County through a mobile shelter called Room in the Inn. Bullitt County is a community completely void of permanent homeless shelters. Room in the Inn provides transportation for 15 to 20 families per night to one of their 40 partnering pop-up shelter locations.
Students, parents, grandparents and friends of all ages are invited to support this community outreach program. There is no cost to participate, however, participants are encouraged to contribute supplies to support the contents of the brown bags. White bread, grape jam, grape jelly, peanut butter, clementines, pre-packaged snacks, mini-sized water bottles, ziplock sandwich bags, brown lunch bags, paper napkins, chips, pretzels and goldfish snacks.
