Colloquium and luncheon conversation with Joshua Golding

Please join us for a Wednesday, October 10, 2018 luncheon conversation with Joshua Golding: “The Jewish Spiritual Path: The Way of the Name.”Dr. Golding’s discussion focuses on mystical and practical Kabbalistic concepts that are illuminated in his forthcoming book.

Dr. Golding is Professor of Philosophy specializing in Philosophy of Religion and Jewish Philosophy at Bellarmine University in Louisville, Kentucky. He has held research positions at the Hebrew University, University of Haifa, and the University of Notre Dame and is the author of The Conversation and Rationality and Religious Theism. Dr. Golding has published articles in Religious Studies, Faith and Philosophy, and Tradition, among others. He has also served as spiritual leader of Congregation Anshei Sfard, in Louisville, Kentucky.

This Jewish Studies Colloquium will take place in Bingham Humanities Building, Room 300 from 12:00-1:15. Please RSVP to ranen.omersherman@louisville.edu. All attendees must register in advance to have an accurate headcount for the meal.
