Discover the fun and community spirit of Camp Cool Age right here at the Trager Family JCC in Louisville, KY! Our camp takes full advantage of the JCC’s fantastic facilities, offering a refreshing retreat where you can enjoy adventure, camaraderie, and personal growth. At Camp Cool Age, we believe that age is just a number, and our mission is to create a space where campers of all backgrounds can embrace life’s joys and form lasting memories.

Our thoughtfully designed camp program blends cultural enrichment, physical activities, and social engagement. Choose from a variety of exciting activities, such as Drum Circle, Tie-Dye, Self-Defense, Meditation, and a Sing-Along Session, all led by contracted professionals and JCC professional staff. Whether you’re looking to express yourself through art, music, or games, we have something for everyone.


DETAILS:

Camp Cool Age is a daytime camp that will meet Thursday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. – 3:15 p.m. both days

Daily lunch will be provided, featuring local flavors

Like the Trager Family JCC, Camp Cool Age welcomes people from all backgrounds and abilities

Each camp day there will be inspiring activities to choose from for everyone. Activities will include tie dye, meditation, drum circle, candle making, & even more! See below for some of the choices and descriptions.

Price: $118 Per Person (+ tax)

Learn practical techniques and confidence building strategies with certified self-defense instructor Sean Peoples.

Get ready to sprinkle some fun! Join this session for a hands-on cupcake decorating class, where you’ll learn how to design like a pro with Jaelin Rifkind from Sullivan University.

Design vibrant and unique patterns on T-shirts and challah covers for a personalized touch.

Sing your heart out to your favorite Broadway hits and bring the stage to life with Erin Silliman, our gifted CenterStage Producing Director.

Craft beautifully intricate sand candles, perfect for Shabbat or creating a warm and inviting atmosphere in your home.

Unleash your inner artist! Craft unique, one-of-a-kind jewelry to wear or gift with pride led by Surekha Kulkarni founder of Beaded Treasures and Empowering Beads.

Kyle Roemer has a Bachelor of Arts degree from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati and is currently a student at NYU. He is thrilled to be teaching this session.
