Shalom Baby Offers Workshop on “Nutrition and Your Baby’s Needs”

Participants in the Jewish Community of Louisville’s Shalom Baby program are invited to a workshop on “Nutrition and Your Baby’s Needs” with registered dietician Erin Brown on Sunday, April 11, at 10 a.m. in the Patio Gallery at the Jewish Community Center.

 

In addition, they are invited to be part of the first Shalom Baby cookbook by submitting their favorite kosher-style recipes to amyl@jcfl.com by April 5. The free finished cookbooks will be available at the door.

Babysitting will be provided, and refreshments will be served.

Erin Brown is a registered dietician who earned her B.S. in dietetics from the University of Kensucky. She is currently completing her Master’s Degree in community health education at the University of Louisville and serving an internship at the Jewish Community Center. She has been involved in many wellness initiatives, including programming at the YMCA, Meyzeek Middle School, University Hospital and the University of Louisville.

Eva Sokol and Kristen Yoffe are the chairs of this event.
