Several YAD members attended Access event at Keeneland
On October 20, young adults from Louisville, Lexington and Cincinnati met for a regional Young Adult Division event at Keenland Racetrack. Before the call to post, everyone enjoyed a tailgate lunch on The Hill while meeting people from throughout the region.
It was the first time at a horse racing track for many from Cincinnati, so those from Louisville and Lexington took on the role of track spokespeople, explaining how racing works and the different types of bets.
The event was a joint program between the Jewish Federation of Louisville, Jewish Federation of the Bluegrass and Access Cincinnati. The groups look forward to planning more regional events in the future.
