On Sunday, March 26, Pamela Pettit, a teacher at The J ELC, will shave her head in support of the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and Glen’s Army. Glen Bayne, now 4, was diagnosed with Rhabdomyosarcoma two years ago. Glen celebrated one year free of the disease last October and will scan again on April 10.
Glen’s Army is a group of parents, teachers and friends who are fighting the disease with the family. The J ELC family supported several fundraisers, including a CureSearch Walk in 2014 where they raised more than $13,000.
