Middle Schoolers Enjoy Teen Connection Event

The last Teen Connection event of 2010, a Wii and ping pong tournament, was held on Sunday, December 5. These programs have drawn consistently high participation from Jewish sixth-eighth graders, and this program was no exception.

The Teen Lounge at the JCC was filled with middle schoolers enjoying a ping pong tournament, pizza, some Wii games and, of course, their friends. Chelsea Rosenberg and Maggie Rosen from the BBYO youth group also spent some quality time with Teen Connection discussing what is in store for them when they get into high school.

Alex Koby walked away as the TC Ping Pong Tournament champion and received a $15 iTunes gift card.

Although our social events are finished for 2010, there will be a Teen Connection community service project on Sunday, December 19, at the JCC. Teen Connection volunteers will be giving away bags of popcorn to anyone walking through the JCC, and they will accept donations which will be used to purchase supplies for Ronald McDonald House guests.
