Join us this evening for Sunday Night Live at Virtual AJ – Cancel Culture through a Jewish Lens. A conversation with Journalist, Bari Weiss!
Guest speaker – From 2017 to 2020, Bari Weiss was an opinion writer and editor at The New York Times. Before joining The Times, Bari was an opinion editor and an associate book review editor at The Wall Street Journal. Previously, Bari was a senior editor at Tablet, the online magazine of Jewish news, politics, and culture, where she edited the site’s political and news coverage.
Moderator – Rabbi Jason Nevarez, Senior Rabbi at Congregation Beth Israel in San Diego, will serve as Moderator. He was ordained by the Hebrew Union College-Jewish Institute of Religion in New York in 2006. As part of his congregational portfolio, Rabbi Nevarez has had the opportunity to do outreach, educational, and social justice work both in Israel and Latin America.
AJ is co-hosting this program with communities around the country. The program is free of charge; however, PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED.
