Sunday Night Live at Virtual AJ

Join us this evening for Sunday Night Live at Virtual AJ featuring Rob Jamner, Musician & Singer. Rob Jamner (who uses the pronouns “they/them”) celebrated their b’nei mitzvah at Adath Jeshurun. They grew up in a musical home with their mom, Margaret Jamner, playing the flute and their father, Jeff Jamner, playing the piano. Rob has followed in the musical footsteps of their talented parents, and has grown into a dynamic songwriter and performer! They graduated from Oberlin College with a degree in Creative Writing in 2017, and moved to Berkeley, California.
Rob will be performing some songs from their EP, Holding Stones, as well as some original songs that they wrote for a Jewish summer camp in Berkeley. The songs were written to inspire the campers to learn the Jewish ethical concepts of Tzaar Baalei Chayim (the ethical treatment of animals), Peah (leaving the corners of one’s field for those in need), and Bal Tashchit (environmental ethics). Come and enjoy the inspiring music of this talented young artist!
