Sunday Night Live – an AJ virtual program featuring Rivka Campbell. Topic…Black/Jewish Relations: Where do we go from here?
Rivka Campbell is a Jewish person of Jamaican descent. She is the Executive Director of Beth Tikvah Congregation in Toronto, and is the co-founder of Jews of Colour-Canada, which seeks to build community among Jews of Colour while opening dialogue among the mainstream Jewish community. Rivka is a recognized speaker and educator on Jewish Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion. She is currently filming a documentary on Jewish Diversity, and has a Canadian Jewish News podcast called “Rivkush.” She is also a filmmaker, and at one time, she was an Emergency Room nurse. Rivka has lectured at Limmud, synagogues, JCCs, community groups, and Hebrew Schools. Rivka is also a Board Member of the North American Association of Synagogue Executives.
