An endearing comedy-drama about an unexpected friendship set in London’s East End. Jonathan Pryce stars as Nat, a Jewish baker, struggling to keep his family’s kosher bakery open. When his only worker quits and the landlord raises his rent, Nat hires a young Muslim apprentice, Ayyash, who is facing his own struggles in supporting his family.  Things take a turn when Ayyash accidently drops a little marijuana into the challah batter, and business skyrockets.
