What are School’s Out Days?
When Jefferson County schools are closed, bring your child to learn and play! School’s Out Days are 9 a.m.-3 p.m. with optional early drop off and late pick up services. All days include sports, arts and crafts, swimming and more. Bring a bathing suit, towel and lunch! Each day has a different exciting theme like:
Creative Cooking-October 4
9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Develop your creativity and use food to create edible jewelry, art projects and fun things to eat.
Fall Fun-October 7
9 a.m.-3 p.m.
We will take a field trip to Deere Farms to take a hayride, learn how pumpkins grow. Pick one to take home and more!
PJ Party-October 8
9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Wear your pajamas and have a slumber party at the JCC without staying the night. We will play games, roast s’mores and more!
Bowl the Day Away-November 11
9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Grab your bowling ball and bowling shoes and join us for a bowling party. We will take a trip to Ten Pin Lanes and also participate in sports & swimming at the JCC.
Thanksgiving Celebration-November 27
9 a.m.-3 p.m.
Get ready for Thanksgiving by creating centerpieces for your Thanksgiving meal, playing Thanksgiving relays and more!
