Solar Eclipse Trip

Join your friends from the J for a full-day trip to Hopkinsville to watch a total solar eclipse! Hopkinsville lies in the center of the eclipse’s path and you will be able to see the full three-hour partial eclipse as well as the totality, when the sun is completely covered by the moon—an event that will not occur for another seven years. The trip includes special glasses you can use to watch the sun safely during the eclipse. We will meet at The J at 8:30 a.m. to carpool down and return afterward. Bring your own picnic lunch and prepare to experience this unique opportunity!
