Young Adults in Their 20’s and 30’s Are Invited to Sushi in the Sukkah

This Sukkot, young adults in their 20’s and 30’s are invited to add a Japanese twist as they perform the mitzvah of eating in the sukkah. On Thursday, September 23, the Jewish Community of Louisville’s Young Adult Division (YAD) invites its younger members to come to Adath Jeshurun for Sushi in the Sukkah.

 

The evening will start with Sukkot services at 5:45 p.m. Japanese cocktails and appetizers will be served at 6:30; then participate in a sushi-making class at 7:15.

All young adults in the community are invited to participate for just $15 per person. Register online at www.adathjeshurun.com/sushi, call the AJ office, 458-5359 with credit card information, or fill out the form found on page 21 and send it to AJ, 2401 Woodbourne Ave, Louisville, KY 40205, attn.: sushi. All reservations and payments must be received by Monday, September 20.
