YAD Plans Social Event at The Pointe

The weather is breaking; it is almost spring, and the Young Adult Division (YAD) is celebrating the season with a non-solicitation social event on Saturday, March 20, 7:30 p.m., at The Pointe, 1205 E. Washington St.

The modest $25 cost per person covers appetizers catered by Ramsi’s Café on the World, open bar with alcohol provided by Heaven Hill Distilleries and music expertly handled by DJ Kim Sorise.

RSVP by Monday, March 15, to Amy at 618-5310 or amyl@jcfl.com, or online by clicking here.

The event will also welcome young newcomers to the Jewish community. Many of them have already taken advantage of a recent initiative that has current YAD members serve as ambassadors to help each newcomer transition and integrate into the community. If you are new to the community and would like to request an ambassador, please contact Allison Schwartz, JCL Outreach Coordinator, at 618-5325 or email allisons@jcfl.com.

The YAD event is chaired by Seth Gladstein with able assistance from committee members Amy Landon, Becky Ruby Swansburg and Abby Tasman. Karen Kohn and Julie Marks are heading the YAD Ambassador Program.
