YAD Picnic Provided End-of-Summer Fun for All

August 28 was a beautiful day, and many YAD (Young Adult Division) members and their families came to Hogan’s Fountain in Cherokee Park to take advantage of it.

Children decorated hangers with their Hebrew names and uncovered scenes of Israel hidden under scratch-offs. Young and old alike tested their skill at the corn hole game and tried their luck at the raffle.

Folksinger John Gage sang some Jewish songs and the Jewish Community of Louisville provided ice cream desserts for everyone.

Kat Johnson chaired this year’s picnic. Tzivia Levin is the YAD director.
