Eager to reach out to as many young members of the Jewish community as possible, the Jewish Community Association of Louisville’s Young Adult Division, YAD drew around 30 people to a Young Professionals Happy Hour at Brendan’s on May 17.
“We’ve had YAD events before, but this really was one populated by people in their 20’s, which is nice,” said Event Co-Chair Adam Neft. “It’s nice to get together and see people fresh out of college or still in school take an active role in the community, even if it is just a social event.”
Participants enjoyed vegetarian appetizers provided by YAD, and a cash bar. There was a drawing for a free one-month JCC membership, and it went to Hannah Brazin.
“We had a lot of fun and hope to do it again soon,” Neft added.
