Summer is here at the JCC. Summer camp is now in full gear, the Gators are in the middle of their season and the pool is packed.
While we are excited for the heat of the summer, Mother Nature was not quite ready to give up her rainy spring. During the last 2 weeks, almost 2.5 inches of rain has fallen at the JCC. That is more than twice the amount of rain we normally get to start June.
Unfortunately, all that rain means construction on the new Seng Jewelers Wading Pool is delayed. All of the advance work is finished including the pipework for the new water features.
The actual open date of the pool depends on a lot of factors including the weather. As soon as it is open, we will alert members.
