What do you love about training?
Training has created structure, which has helped me become more disciplined. It challenges me physically and mentally. At times training can be therapeutic. I could be having a rough day and just going to the gym and practicing an exercise or a routine helps me feel better and more energized. I also love that training can help with the building of good character.

Why is personal training so important?
I think what makes personal training so important is accountability. A client is not only hiring a trainer to help develop training programs to achieve specific fitness goals, but is also there to keep them on tasks to those goals. Sometimes a person gets off track or discouraged trying to achieve a goal. A trainer can help a client stay focused and encourage them to keep pursuing what they set out to do.

Why should someone sign up for personal training?
Personal training can provide a structured system to achieve a fitness goal. A personal trainer can provide individual attention to a client’s goals, whether its a beginner teaching them basic movement fundamentals and patterns, to an intermediate or advanced client who needs new ideas applied to their programs. Personal trainers have a wealth of knowledge and experience to help achieve your goals.

Do you have a particular training focus or strength?
For the better part of my personal training career, most of my focus has been strength base training. Body weight, barbells, dumbbells and some machines have all played some role in my training programs. I do place a strong emphasis on conditioning base strength training as well (sprint drills, sled work, jumping rope).

Why do you love personal training?
I find it rewarding to help someone achieve their fitness goals. The opportunity to work with a client to overcome certain obstacles and see progress is a great feeling. Personal training also gives me the inspiration to keep learning and understanding on how to better train my clients, so they can achieve more whether it be in training or in life.

Why is personal training so important?
Personal training is important because there is a lot of bad information out there. Personal training helps teach people good form and how to be safe when lifting, along with passing on correct information.

Why should someone sign up for personal training?
If you are not sure what to do, having a personal trainer can help you figure it out.  Even if you are an avid gym goer, a trainer can help you get past plateaus. We keep you motivated and push you harder then you push yourself. We custom build workouts for you and constantly change them. All you have to do is show up and put in the effort.

Getting to have 1-1 conversations and to get creative with exercise. Every body’s needs and goals are different and it is a fun, creative outlet to make a program that is personalized and tailored to a person’s specific situation.

Why is personal training so important?
It helps to give tailored advice to everyone’s specific needs and goals. Client’s get to have that accountability and have the chance to get creative doing exercises they may not have been inclined to do previously. Trainers help to push a client past the point where they would have stopped had they been on their own. Trainers are Accountability Buddies and Cheerleaders all wrapped into one.

To learn. To be motivated. To experiment. To be held accountable. To set yourself up with all the tools to succeed.

I love watching people reach their goals and seeing them proud of themselves after a hard workout. I love knowing I had a part in them getting closer to their goal.

Why is personal training so important?
Personal training can act as a motivator. With a personal trainer, you are more motivated and push harder because their is an accountability. A personal trainer can also act as a coach and help you develop the skills to safety complete great workouts and see results. Personal trainers also have the knowledge to cater workouts to those who have past injuries and weaknesses.

Why should someone sign up for personal training?
Many different reasons. If you are someone who finds self-motivation isn’t your strong suit, wants to maximize your time to reach your goals, wants someone to push you harder, or timid to workout because of a past injury and worried you may injure yourself, a personal trainer is definitely someone who can help you.

Do you have a particular training focus or strength?
