Dear JCC Family,
We look forward to welcoming you back to your home away from home at the JCC starting Monday, June 1. Per the Governor’s re-opening plan, we will open the health and wellness areas of our building on June 1. We will have new procedures in place to ensure the health and safety of our members and staff while at the JCC. We plan to share these new procedures next week. When you return to the JCC, please know that we remain committed to following all health and safety protocols as set forth by our state and local officials as well as our own JCC Health and Safety Advisory Committee.
The feature article in yesterday’s Community E-News shared more details regarding our operating plans and strategy as we re-open.
Late last week, we were happy to hear Governor Beshear approve plans to open lap pools. As of now, we will open our two lap pools, for lap swimmers only, on June 1. As always, plans are subject to change pending any additional guidance from the State and Jefferson County Boards of Health.
On behalf of our JCC family of staff and our board of directors, we are grateful to you for your patience and flexibility. We know that you will have many questions as we open our doors and we will be here to ensure that you have the answers you need. We will continue to update you through email, our website and social media. In the meantime, our health and wellness team has been busy cleaning and sanitizing our fitness facility from top to bottom. Please take a look at this short video of our team as they prepare to welcome you back.
Our JCC doors were physically closed on March 16. However, our commitment and determination to see each of you again as we re-emerge from our homes has served as the best motivation through a very long spring. As always, please email us at email@example.com with questions or thoughts.
