Through the generous support of an alumnus and donor, we are thrilled to be able to provide a scholarship opportunity to those interested in Academy this season! Academy is a place where students can grow and learn onstage and off. Maddie Behr, an alumna of our program, “found her magic” in Academy – building her love and knowledge of theatre, establishing lifelong friendships, and growing as a performer and young woman. Maddie wants all young performers, whether experienced or brand new to the stage, to “find their magic” too!
Scholarship Criteria and Needs:
- Any student eligible for our program may apply – does not need to be a first-time participant.
- Scholarship will cover 50% of registration fee for one (1) session.
- Student must submit a video application answering the questions: (1-2 minutes in length)
- Tell us about your performance experience or desire to perform.
- What excites and inspires you about performing?
- What do you want to get out of this experience at Academy?
- Parents/Guardians must submit a written narrative answering the following questions: (200-300 words)
- How would the Academy experience help your young performer “find their magic”?
- What growth do you hope to see for your child at Academy?
Applications are due Friday, August 21 at 5 p.m.
Applicants and their families will be notified by email by Thursday, August 27 at 5 p.m. of the results.
