Yachad, together in Hebrew, is our inclusion program that offers campers with special needs and learning differences the opportunity to fully enjoy the Camp J experience. Campers in our Yachad program are assigned an advocate during challenging times or activities. Advocates personalize the camp experience to meet the individual needs of the child. Intake forms are required for acceptance into the program. If your child has any form of IEP or 504, attends an alternative school, or receives services in school, it is required you complete an intake form, submit documentation from your child’s school and participate in the assessment process prior to enrollment in camp. All Yachad campers MUST be completely toilet trained before attending camp. The J is open and accessible to everyone, regardless of age, race, religion, gender, sexual orientation or special needs.
