Yachad–Program for Children with Special Needs

Yachad means together in Hebrew and it is together that we can enjoy camp to the fullest. The J is open and accessible to everyone, regardless of age, race, religion , gender, sexual orientation or special needs. Yachad is our inclusion program that offers children with special needs and learning differences the opportunity to fully enjoy the Camp J experience. Some children are assigned a full-day, one-on-one advocate while others utilize an advocate assistant during challenging times or activities. Advocates personalize the camp experience to meet the individual needs of the child. Intake forms are required for acceptance into the program. If your child has any form of IEP or attends an alternative school, it is required you complete an intake form, submit documentation from your child’s school and participate in the assessment process prior to enrollment in camp.

The Yachad program for 2018 is now full.
