Meet Norma Cahen, our Early Learning Center Director! She has been with the J since February 2015 after enjoying an over 40 year career in the field of Early Childhood Education. Summer camp is always the opportunity for our young campers to enjoy themes and water activities in a relaxed atmosphere.  For the summer of 2017 we are going traveling to dinosaur days, pirates, America, Israel, nursery rhymes and the land of dragons!  We will paint, enjoy a sock hop, make mud pies, have a late night with Dr Seuss, decorate our own cars and pull up to the drive-in!  Every day we begin with the whole camp at SingUP where we enjoy different songs.  From SingUP we branch out to swim lessons, wading pool, dance studio or to our cabin to enjoy stories and arts and crafts.

Our dedicated and responsible camp counselors are carefully selected for their skills, experience and interest in working with children. They receive extensive training prior to the summer and ongoing supervision during the summer to ensure they provide the highest quality care. They are trained in creative programming, group dynamics, child development, conflict resolution, safety procedures and more. Two Israeli Shlichim (counselors from Israel) will be at camp all summer infusing Israeli culture into The J Camp.
